The food was really good. Great atmosphere. I recommend going on karaoke nights. Our retired friends have our quarterly meeting here.
Nice modern tavern with a bar and beer on tap. Newer building with a clean atmosphere. we wanted the fish and chips, but when the server told us it was just frozen deep fried we ordered the tavern burger instead. Basic thin burger with tiny skinny fries ordinary fast food quality.
This is a local little joint with a bar and grill. We walked in with masks and were quickly seated. There look to be a few outside tables, too. The waitress was a lovely young lady, Kelly, who was very friendly and made a few recommendations for us. We tried the Mountain Bread, sort of a take on cheesy bread that reminded me a little of bruchetta. Entrees were also good. Philly cheesesteak was juicy, lots of toppings. Indiana pork chop sandwich was massive. Easily the size of a salad plate. The chips are crispy, too. For a no frills but friendly and satisfying meal, check this place out.
The food, the SERVICE, the ambiance, all of it was impeccable. The waitress/bartender was amazing. So kind, easy to ask questions to about drinks and food and very receptive. I asked about mixed drinks and she was excited to tell me about them. I asked about drafts and bottles and she said what do you like and even brought out samples if something I wanted was out. I wish I knew her name however a great experience all around. The food was delicious, I had the crispy chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries and I enjoyed them thoroughly, perfect breaking on the sandwich, perfect seasoning, all the textures were just right and the fries were lightly seasoned to perfection.
